Alexandra Brookes - Studio Owner
After receiving diplomas in sports development and fitness and massage therapy, I went on to carry out my degree in sports rehabilitation and am now a fully qualified member of BASRat and member of the FHT. With this, I have taken on various roles in both sporting and clinical settings. Throughout my years of practice I have gained various skills in a variety of settings, a keen interest in Pilates and fitness have lead to my development in these areas and training with APPI.
My love of Pilates matwork , reformers and gym based exercises ensures that my classes are delivered with passion and with the client in mind. I have a keen interest in Pilates equipment and my equired skills on the Pilates Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Ladder barrel form a major part in my process of client injury rehabilitation as well as my love for soft tissue therapy.
I also have a passion for holistic therapies and treatment and offering; Sports and Swedish massage, Pregnancy massage and Reflexology.

Alison Davies - Yoga by Candlelight
Alison was first introduced to Yoga by her Pilates teacher and quickly became hooked on Bikram (hot) Yoga. She was drawn to Yoga for the physical aspect of the practice and soon discovered the immense emotional and spiritual healing it can bring. Alison completed her 200 hours Hatha and Ashtanga teacher training with YMCA Training in London. In her teaching, Alison combines the strength and balance of Ashtanga with the slow accepting nature of Yin. She encourages a strong connection between movement and breath, promoting self awareness and self acceptance. From this point of acceptance we can explore more fulfilling ways of interacting with life and work towards finding a true sense of peace. Alison’s passion is to bring the joy and release of Yoga to her students and to encourage their own journey of self discovery.

Helen Swan - Yoga Bunnies
I have a wealth of experience working with children. I worked as a primary school teacher for 18 years, which I loved. When I had my own two children, I decided to become a teacher at home and extend my practice into Early Years and so became a childminder. After 2 years of childminding, I feel it is time to embark on a new and exciting career in Baby Massage and Baby Yoga. As a new mummy, I found these groups invaluable in ‘clearing the fog’ during those early months and also met the most wonderful friends. I feel privileged to now offer the same opportunities to other parents! :-)

My yoga journey began six years ago - initially from online tutorials, before plucking up the courage to attend a yoga class - and I'm not sure where I'd be today without having stepped on my mat.
Most people come to yoga class wanting to be able to touch their toes - but it's so much more than that! Yoga literally means 'union', to join the mind and body together, and in the fast-paced world that we live in, where we are bombarded by technology and social media, I don't think it's ever been more relevant than it is today.
Yoga got me hooked because I was dealing with mental health issues - and it was the only place where I could escape my own brain - and it's still that place for me, as well as strength training, stretching and even an intense workout.
I currently offer both group and 1 to 1 yoga classes in North Manchester and Bolton. In my class we don't take things too seriously - we play with our practice and enjoy moving and de-stressing!
Classes commence Friday 8th March 10am-11am
