Reflexology is a complementary therapy, based on the theory that different points on the hands and feet correspond to that of the organs and parts of the body.

Reflexology can be tailored to the individual client and can treat a range of different ailments or can simply be used to promote health and well-being.

Conception and Reflexology

Reflexology can help to support a couple trying to conceive, both emotionally and physically.

A full consultation is used to highlight factors that may be decreasing a couples chance of conception and to implement a treatment program.

Having conception reflexology can aid relaxation and reduce stress levels which are a commonly associated with difficulty conceiving.

Certain reflex points can  be stimulated in the feet to bring about a balance in hormones, to promote health and vitality to the reproductive system, thus aiding the regulation of periods, promotion of ovulation, reduction in PMS and an increase in sperm quality and quantity.

Problems with fertility can be very stressful and reflexology can be very supportive during this time, with stress and its prolonged release of cortisol inhibiting the production of fertility hormones and the lead to erectile dysfunction in men.
